Job summary

Global Channel Management is a technology company providing recruiting and staff augmentation expertise. The role targets seasoned network engineers with hands-on experience in routing, switching, OpenStack, virtualization, and load balancers.

Candidates should have strong communication skills, the ability to multitask across several projects, and basic project management capabilities. The position is a 12-month assignment with a $35/hr compensation.

Qualifications

• BS preferred or equivalent work experience. Generally 3+ Years work experience in related discipline.
• Routing protocols: BGP and OSPF knowledge.
• Layer 3/Layer 2 switching, spanning-tree, ARP, port-channel, DHCP knowledge.
• Cisco Nexus 5K/7K/9K, FEX 2K, 3900 routers, CRS/NCS, Juniper MX960, Cisco ASR 1K/9K experience.
• F5 and A10 load balancers and SSL certificates installation.
• RedHat OpenStack deployment and implementation.
• VMware deployment and implementation.
• NFV, SDN knowledge.
• Linux, scripting and OpenStack administration preferred.
• Network scripting and automation experience preferred.
• MPLS and WAN technologies knowledge.
• Network documentation and Visio skills.
• Basic project management skills.
• Multitasking on multiple projects.
• Good communication and ability to work with multiple groups.

Qualifications

1. BS preferred or equivalent work experience. Generally 3+ Years work experience in related discipline.
2. Working knowledge of routing protocols such as BGP and OSPF
3. Working knowledge of layer 3 and layer 2 switching, spanning-tree protocols, ARP, port-channel, DHCP.
4. Hardware hands on and knowledge of Cisco Nexus 5K, 7K, 9Ks, FEX 2K, Cisco 3900 routers, Cisco CRS/NCS, Juniper MX960, Cisco ASR 1K/9K routers.
5. Working knowledge of F5 and A10 load balancers including knowledge of SSL certificates and its installation on load balancers.
6. Working knowledge of RedHat Openstack deployment and implementation.
7. Working knowledge of VMWare deployment and implementation
8. Working knowledge of Network Function Virtualization (NFV), Software Defined Network (SDN).
9. Experience with Linux, scripting and Openstack administration is preferred.
10. Any network scripting and automation experience is preferred.
11. Working knowledge of MPLS and WAN technologies.
12. Network documentation and Visio skills
13. Basic level of project management skills
