Job summary

Menard, Inc. is seeking a Network System Administrator to join the Network Core & Security team in managing enterprise network infrastructure across corporate, distribution, manufacturing and retail locations in Wisconsin and beyond.

The role requires supporting mission-critical environments with uptime, performance, and security in mind. The ideal candidate will install and maintain networks, participate in design and implementation of segmentation, firewalls, routing, switching, and

Qualifications

• Experience or training in supporting mission-critical network environments.
• Ability to work in secure production-computing environment.
• Install and maintain networks across corporate, distribution, manufacturing, and retail locations.

Responsibilities

• Participate in day-to-day maintenance of Data Center systems.
• Manage core routing/switching (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, IS-IS).
• Oversee network segmentation and firewall solutions.
• Support user authentication and certificate management.
• Provide remote access support for staff and vendors.
• Monitor uptime, capacity, performance and security threats.
• Configure and maintain network management and IPAM systems.
• Develop plans to improve utilization, capacity and performance.
