Job summary

Capital One is seeking a Senior Manager of Network Compliance to lead a key risk management role in the second line of defense for the network and merchant businesses worldwide.

You will provide compliance advisory support, develop deep process understanding, analyze regulatory applicability, and partner with risk, legal, and audit teams to ensure compliant growth of card acceptance and payments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or military experience.
• 3+ years in tech risk assessment activities.
• 8+ years in legal, compliance, or risk management or 7+ years regulatory in consumer financial services or payments.
• Advanced degree (JD or Master) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide advice and effective challenge on compliance risks impacting the network and merchant businesses.
• Develop expert understanding of network and merchant processes.
• Analyze processes against laws and Capital One's global legal inventory.
• Identify trends in business data and external risks in payments.
• Maintain subject matter expertise in payments laws, rules and regulations.
• Collaborate with risk, legal, and audit peers to support integration of network compliance.
• Ensure compliance for new products and expansions in network/merchant services.
