Job summary

Dell seeks a Network Automation Engineer – Federal Customer for Chantilly, VA. This on-site role requires active TS/SCI clearance. You will perform network and systems operations, automate changes, and deliver repeatable solutions.

You’ll troubleshoot routing, interconnectivity and performance, collaborating with the Network Architect on new designs and tooling. The ideal candidate is proficient in Python or Go, familiar with networking protocols and APIs (Open vSwitch preferred) and VLAN

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Python or Go for automation and tooling.
• Experience with networking protocols and APIs (Open vSwitch preferred).
• Understanding of network topologies and VLANs; ability to reason about interconnectivity and performance.

Responsibilities

• Create and implement changes through automation.
• Deliver simple, sustainable, and repeatable processes.
• Operate and troubleshoot network routing, interconnectivity, platforms, performance, and configuration issues; including low level application interaction, rk Border and everything in between.
• Work with Network Architect to roll out new designs and maintain tooling.
