Job summary

Core4ce seeks a Mid-Level Automation Engineer to design, build, and maintain robust automation for infrastructure and networking. You will work across IaC with Ansible and Terraform, write Python scripts using Paramiko, and integrate REST APIs for internal systems.

You will help scale operations, ensure CI/CD reliability, and mentor junior engineers while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver self-healing infrastructure solutions.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of IT automation/DevOps, network engineering, or related field.
• Ability to obtain a Secret Clearance with Tier 5 investigation.
• Hands-on experience with Ansible and Terraform in production environments.
• Strong networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, BGP/OSPF).
• Proficiency in Python and REST API consumption/building.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain advanced automation workflows and modules using Ansible and Terraform.
• Develop scalable Python scripts for SSH-based automation and API integrations.
• Automate network provisioning, state validation, and configuration management.
• Collaborate with engineering and operations to architect self-healing, scalable infrastructure.
• Create tooling and dashboards to enable self-service automation for internal teams.
• Troubleshoot performance bottlenecks and CI/CD pipeline reliability.
• Mentor junior engineers and promote best practices in automation.
