Job summary

ITC Federal is seeking a Network Automation Administrator to design and maintain automated network solutions in a fully remote role. You will implement SDN/NFV, develop scripts in Python and Bash, and integrate automation with CI/CD pipelines across multi-cloud and on-premises environments.

The ideal candidate has 5–7+ years in network automation, strong scripting skills, and experience with Ansible and Terraform.

Qualifications

• 5–7+ years of experience in network administration, automation, or related roles.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field strongly preferred; Advanced degree preferred.
• Proven expertise in network automation and orchestration, scripting with Python and Bash, SDN/NFV, and cloud-native networking.
• Experience with automation frameworks such as Ansible and Terraform; CI/CD pipelines for network automation.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain network automation solutions to streamline provisioning, configuration, and management.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts and workflows using Python, Bash, Ansible, Terraform, and similar tools.
• Integrate network automation with CI/CD pipelines to accelerate deployment and updates.
• Implement SDN and NFV solutions to support scalable network architectures.
• Collaborate with cloud and DevOps teams to ensure automation works in multi-cloud environments.
• Optimize network workflows to improve efficiency and reduce errors.
• Monitor and troubleshoot automation processes and provisioning pipelines.
• Document automation workflows, standards, and best practices.
