Title: Network Automation Developer

Location: Remote

Duration/Type of Job: 3+ Months

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Network Automation Engineer with expertise in Python and Cisco networking equipment to design, develop, and maintain automation solutions for our network infrastructure. The ideal candidate will be responsible for automating network configurations, troubleshooting, and optimizing performance using scripting and orchestration tools.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Network Engineering, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in network automation with a focus on Cisco networking equipment.
• Strong proficiency in Python for scripting and automation.
• Experience with network automation tools such as Ansible, Nornir, Napalm, or Netmiko, PYAts
• Hands-on experience with Cisco IOS, NX-OS, IOS-XE, IOS-XR.
• Knowledge of networking protocols (BGP, OSPF, VLANs, VRFs, QoS, etc.).
• Familiarity with Git, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes for automation and DevOps workflows.
• Understanding of REST APIs, JSON, YAML, and XML for network device interaction.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and experience in network monitoring and telemetry.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Cisco certifications such as CCNP, DevNet Associate/Professional, or CCIE Enterprise Infrastructure.
• Knowledge of Linux administration and scripting (Bash, Shell).
• Familiarity with Terraform and/or Postman for network infrastructure automation.
