Job summary

Tech One IT in the United States (remote in California with 1 week travel per month) seeks a Resident Consultant to provide pre- and post-sales support for Juniper Networks products. You will work on-site at customer locations as needed, deploying and supporting MX, EX, QFX, SRX and MIST platforms, and act as a trusted advisor.

The role requires expert-level networking skills, EVPN-VXLAN, MPLS, and BGP/OSPF, with strong communication to executives.

Qualifications

• 10+ years design, implementation, and operations in large-scale IP networks.
• Experience with Juniper hardware MX, EX, QFX, SRX and MIST products.
• EVPN-VXLAN Campus & Data Center Juniper switching fabric experience.
• SRX high-end/mid-range/branch experience (FW policy, IPS, VPN, HA).
• Core routing protocols: BGP, OSPF.
• Routing and switching design/deployment in customer infrastructures.
• Experience using engineering design tools and software.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• EVPN/MPLS, E-Line/VPLS, L3VPN over MPLS, L2VPN over MPLS, IS-IS, RSVP-TE, LDP.
• Strong written and verbal English; ability to communicate architectures and proposals at executive levels.
• JNCIE certifications are highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide pre- and post-sales support for Juniper products at customer sites.
• Be the trusted advisor to customers, supporting operations on-site as needed.
• Collaborate with customer teams to adopt Juniper portfolio rapidly and completely.

Note: This is a teleworker role with the requirement of one week per month of on-site work at the customer site in San Francisco. You must be willing to travel.

Job Description:

The Resident Consultant is an integral part of our mission within the enterprise sector, providing pre & post-sales support of Juniper Networks products. You will be part of a customer account that has experienced high, steady growth. You will be the trusted advisor to our customers working on-site supporting our mission to help them quickly and completely adopt the Juniper portfolio of products. This is a highly technical role, requiring expert-level skill sets on our products and solutions deployed within the customer's environment. You will be responsible for working side-by-side with supporting the customer's operations.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Minimum 10 years of design, implementation, and operational experience in large-scale IP networks.
• Must have large-scale experience with Juniper hardware (MX, EX, QFX, SRX and MIST products)
• EVPN-VXLAN Campus & Data Center Juniper switching fabric experience
• SRX high-end/mid-range/branch experience (FW policy, IPS, IPSec VPN, HA clustering)
• Experience with core routing BGP, OSPF protocols.
• Experience with design and/or deployment of routing and switching products within the Customer infrastructure.
• Experience using, evaluating, and developing appropriate engineering design tools and software packages.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Extensive experience EVPN/MPLS. E-Line (VPWS), E-LAN (VPLS), L3VPN over MPLS, L2VPN over MPLS, IS-IS, RSVP-TE, LDP
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; mastery in English and local language. Ability to effectively communicate product architectures, design proposals and negotiate options at business unit and executive levels.
• JNCIE Certifications are highly preferred.
