This role involves designing, developing, and recommending networking architectures and policies to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of systems and data. The candidate will ensure optimal resource performance while maintaining security and will be responsible for the maintenance of Wide Area Networks (WAN), Local Area Networks (LAN), and wireless networks to prevent unplanned downtime.

Responsibilities:

1. Develop and implement the overall design for networking infrastructure.
2. Serve as a solution expert for upgrades, services, and reported issues.
3. Maintain, update, and develop systems based on organizational needs.
4. Collaborate with operations leaders and end users for system design, testing, training, implementation, evaluation, and maintenance.
5. Research new technologies and strategies to enhance the infrastructure.
6. Provide excellent customer service and maintain positive relationships with colleagues and contractors.
7. Work collaboratively in a flexible, innovative, and team-oriented environment, demonstrating problem-solving skills.
8. Troubleshoot issues, resolve end-user problems, and optimize applications.
9. Support and maintain existing systems and applications, including performing after-hours maintenance as needed.
10. Create and maintain detailed technical documentation.
11. Participate in on-call coverage and escalate critical issues appropriately.
12. Use ticketing systems to log and monitor issues.
13. Participate in projects as assigned.
14. Configure and troubleshoot applications and participate in Disaster Recovery planning and testing.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Technology, or related field with at least 5 years of relevant IT or Healthcare experience, or a High School/GED with 11 years of relevant experience.
2. Experience with Cisco hardware and software; technical certifications preferred.
3. Experience with Aruba ClearPass is a plus.
4. Willingness to travel up to 25% for onsite go-lives; otherwise, remote work.
5. Availability to work nights and weekends as needed, including on-call rotations.
6. Proficiency in leading WebEx meetings.
