Description

Network Architect

Location: Remote - Must support EST - Michigan candidate preferred within drivable distance.

Type: Contract to Hire - 6 months contracted through TEKsystems and then convert perm with customer

We are seeking a highly skilled Network Architect to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong networking skills and senior-level experience. This role will support our global network infrastructure and collaborate with various partners and teams to ensure seamless operations and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Design, implement, and manage network architecture to support global operations.
2. Collaborate with other partners to manage day-to-day network operations.
3. Support cloud initiatives, including workloads on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Amazon Web Services (AWS).
4. Assist with network refresh projects and evaluate budget and cost-saving opportunities.
5. Provide expertise in vulnerability management and integration of tools like Tanium and ServiceNow.
6. Support infrastructure, network, and cloud services, ensuring performance and scalability.

Technical Environment:

1. Google Cloud Platform (GCP): 90% of SAP workloads.
2. Amazon Web Services (AWS): Remaining workloads.
3. Operating Systems: Windows and Linux.
4. Disaster Recovery (DR): Switch Data Center in Grand Rapids.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

1. Certification in Cisco: CCIE preferred.
2. Certification in relevant Cloud Platforms: GCP/AWS.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $70.00 - $85.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be specific to your plan or election. If eligible, benefits may include:
