Job summary

Contra Costa County Health Services is seeking a Network Analyst II to lead complex LAN/WAN projects, analyze user information system needs, and design solutions. Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.
Four years of LAN/WAN network experience with TCP/IP, UDP, and related protocols.
Certifications can substitute for education per county policy.

Responsibilities

Take ownership of projects and manage resources to completion.
Perform complex systems analysis for LAN/WAN networks.
Analyze user information system needs and design appropriate solutions.
Participate in County-wide complex projects as a team member.
Install, test, and configure network hardware and software.
Coordinate with vendors for components and services for network expansion/maintenance.
Produce detailed diagrams and procedures.
Participate in after-hours on-call rotations.
