Job summary

County of Contra Costa Health Services seeks a Network Analyst II to deliver complex LAN/WAN design and support across multiple sites. You will analyze needs, configure hardware and software, and drive project completion while collaborating with vendors and IT colleagues.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in a related field and four years of practical experience with TCP/IP networking, security devices, and network acceleration tools. On-call rotations may apply.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer information systems, data base administration, telecommunications management or closely related field.
• Four (4) years of full-time or equivalent experience designing, installing and maintaining complex LANs/WANs using TCP/IP, UDP and related protocols.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of projects and manage resources to project completion.
• Perform complex systems analysis for local area, wide area, or multi-protocol networks.
• Analyze user information system needs and design appropriate solutions.
• Participate in County-wide complex projects as a team member.
• Install, test, and configure network hardware and software.
• Coordinate with vendors for components and services.
• Produce detailed documentation, diagrams, and procedures.
• Participate in after-hours on-call rotations.
