Job summary

The City of Cleveland is seeking a Network Analyst II to troubleshoot, repair, and implement complex IT solutions. You will install, configure, and maintain the City’s communications network, and manage LAN/WAN changes at the PC level.

The role leads in network architecture design and citywide communications development. Ideal candidates will hold an associate degree in IT/CS/Networking with 3+ years in IT/IS, certs such as CCNA/CCNP, and strong communication and leadership skills.

Qualifications

Associate’s Degree required in IT/CS/Networking; Bachelor’s preferred.
Three years of full-time IT/IS experience; two in a Windows environment.
Experience with LAN/MAN/WAN, Cisco networking, TCP/IP, Routers and Switches.
Network certifications (CCNA/CCDA/CCNP/CCD P) highly desired.
Must have a valid State of Ohio Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoots, repairs, and implements complex IT solutions.
Installs, configures, and maintains City of Cleveland's communications network.
Manages LAN/WAN additions and changes at the PC level.
Provides domain administration, back-up operations, and network support.
Plans and implements strategic goals of the City’s network systems.
Leads design of domain and network architecture and citywide communications systems.
Runs diagnostics and assists in deployment of network backbone including switches, servers, routers.
Consults with operation staff and service providers to resolve issues within the City’s infrastructure.
