Job summary

The City of Cleveland is seeking a Network Analyst II / Cyber Security to troubleshoot, repair, and implement complex IT solutions across citywide networks and systems.

Responsibilities include designing and maintaining LAN/WAN, TCP/IP, routers and switches, Windows server/client environments, and providing technical leadership. An Associate’s Degree is required, a Bachelor’s is preferred, with at least three years of IT/IS experience; certifications welcome.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree required; Bachelor's preferred.
• Three years IT/IS experience, two in Windows.
• Knowledge of LAN/MAN/WAN, Cisco networking, TCP/IP, routers and switches.
• CCNA/CCDA/CCNP or equivalent certification desirable.
• Strong communication, leadership and organizational skills.
• Must lift up to 30 pounds and have a valid Ohio driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoots, repairs, and implements IT solutions for city networks.
• Designs, develops, tests, and maintains city network architecture.
• Provides technical lead in domain/network design and deployment.
• Maintains records on maintenance, inventory, and security measures.
• Consults with staff and service providers to resolve issues.
