Job summary

Akkodis is seeking an experienced Network Administrator to join our IT Infrastructure and Security team in the United States. You will ensure stability, performance, and security of enterprise networks across locations, support and optimize network infrastructure, and play a key role in maintaining secure connectivity for business operations.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, VPNs, and routing protocols.
• Experience with firewalls, switches, wireless networks, and SD-WAN technologies.
• Experience supporting multi-site WAN environments.
• Hands-on experience with Cisco, Meraki, Fortinet, Aruba, or similar networking platforms.
• Experience utilizing network monitoring and management tools.
• Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis abilities.
• Experience implementing network security best practices and compliance requirements.
• Experience supporting Microsoft 365, Azure, and hybrid cloud environments.
• Strong documentation and network diagramming skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, install, configure, maintain, secure, and optimize network infrastructure
• Support and administer network hardware, software, and communication links
• Monitor network performance and proactively identify areas for improvement
• Troubleshoot and resolve network, hardware, and software issues in a timely manner
• Support multi-site WAN environments and connectivity solutions
• Implement and maintain network security best practices
• Collaborate with internal teams to support Microsoft 365, Azure, and hybrid cloud environments
• Create and maintain accurate network documentation and diagrams
• Provide technical guidance and training to end users as needed
• Participate in on-call and after-hours support rotations when required
