Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or education and training equivalent to four years of college education in business, liberal arts, or any field other than engineering or the hard sciences.
• Over four years and up to eight years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
• Professional certifications in networking (Network+ and CCNA) are required or strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, direct, and evaluate staff; handle employee concerns, counseling, and performance appraisals.
• Coordinate and review work; establish schedules; monitor progress and provide guidance as needed.
• Maintain servers and network services including DNS, devices, and security controls.
• Configure and manage servers; handle email delivery and security groups; maintain policies.
• Monitor virtual center configurations, security, backups, and resource utilization.
• Manage remote access; create and maintain network and application access; troubleshoot issues.
• Plan, document, and report on systems and projects; track budgets and progress.
• Maintain communication links, cables, and devices; document network designs.
• Perform related duties as assigned.
