The Program Coordinator supports Stetson University by aiding the Hatters Behavioral Health Coalition Program, coordinating with internal and external partners, recruiting students for grant sites, and collecting data for grant reporting.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Project Director with onboarding new students and the new Clinical Coordinator to the grant.
  • Coordinate experiential training site partnership events.
  • Coordinate internal partnership activities and obtain approvals for credits when needed.
  • Manage training logistics: room reservations, setup, and refreshments.
  • Facilitate biofeedback training sessions through the SMART Lab.
  • Develop initiatives to enhance student retention and support organizations.
  • Create interdisciplinary behavioral health training opportunities for students.
  • Oversee the digital training library and coordinate CEUs with external partners.
  • Collect and analyze data for internal and external evaluation and reporting.
  • Maintain communication with students and internal/external partners.
  • Serve on the HBHC Advisory Council.
  • Perform other site and role-specific duties as assigned.

The Program Coordinator supports Stetson University by supporting the work of the Hatters Behavioral Health Coalition Program. Serving as a member of HBHC Team within the Department of Counselor Education, the Program Coordinator will assist the HBHC Project Director with coordinating with external and internal partners, recruiting students to be placed at grant sites in the community, and collecting and organizing data for internal and external grant-related reporting processes. The HBHC Program Coordinator will also assist with logistics for training programs and maintenance of a video library. In addition to supporting the Project Director, the Program Coordinator will support the Project Clinical Coordinator in their process of placing students at grant sites as needed. In alignment with Stetson’s Strategic Priorities, the Program Coordinator will support the Department of Counselor Education in providing students with opportunities for experiential, contemporary, and integrative learning.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Assist the Project Director with onboarding new students and the new Clinical Coordinator to the grant
  • Coordinate experiential training site partnership events
  • Coordinate internal partnership activities (e.g., communicate events to Health Sciences and/or Psychology undergraduate students, obtain required approval for cultural credits when needed)
  • Coordinate logistical details of training events (e.g., secure room reservations, room and material setup, order refreshments)
  • Facilitate biofeedback training sessions through the Counselor Education SMART Lab
  • Develop support initiatives to enhance student retention (e.g., support the IMPACT student organization)
  • Develop new interdisciplinary behavioral health training opportunities for students
  • Coordinate the digital training library (e.g., establish CEU’s, coordinate the external video production company)
  • Collect and analyze data for the purposes of internal and external evaluation and reporting
  • Support the Project Director and Clinical Coordinator in maintaining communication with students and other internal and external partners
  • Serve on the HBHC Advisory Council
  • Perform other site and position specific functions as assigned
Required Skills

Required Experience
  • AA/AS Degree
  • Three years of relevant professional experience

Ideal Candidate Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Prior administrative experience, particularly in integrated behavioral health-related positions
Work Environment:

This is a full-time position with a flexible schedule as agreed upon between the Project Director and Program Coordinator. The position requires some evening hours to support program activities (e.g., training events, student meetings). Flexible Work Arrangement (FWA) with some hours completed remotely is possible.
