Job description

Immediate need for a talented Network Administrator. This is a 2+ months contract opportunity with long-term potential, located onsite in San Francisco, San Leandro, Richmond, Santa Clara, and San Jose.

Pay Range: $25 - $30/hour. Benefits include health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k), and paid sick leave, depending on work location.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Collaborate with Application Developers to ensure new applications on the enterprise network perform optimally without impacting existing applications.
2. Design and monitor application performance tests, analyze data, and recommend hardware and design improvements.
3. Present capacity analysis and projections to management and business partners.
4. Identify system architecture, application, or hardware changes that may affect Windows server performance or capacity.
5. Create performance and capacity reports reflecting system status.
6. Analyze performance data to set appropriate thresholds for automated alerts.
7. Respond to support tickets and provide field support, ensuring network connectivity for devices.

Key Requirements and Technology Experience:

• Networking, Cabling, VOIP, CUCM, Command Line Skills
• Cisco and Aruba networking equipment
• Telephony experience
• High School Diploma or equivalent
