Job summary

Dickey’s is seeking a Network Administrator to support its IT infrastructure across multiple sites. You will help manage network hardware, monitor virtual machines, and assist in backups and security monitoring.

The role includes user management with AD and Azure AD, and coordinating IT support activities for a fast-paced environment. Local travel to sites is required, with opportunities to contribute to disaster recovery planning and documentation while ensuring security and efficiency of

Qualifications

• Proficient with Active Directory and Azure AD/Entra for user and group management, permissions, and policies.
• Strong knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS) and troubleshooting.
• Experience configuring Microsoft 365 services including license administration, Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, and Teams.

Responsibilities

• Assist in updating and maintaining network hardware (servers, switches, firewalls, VPNs).
• Support monitoring of virtual machines for performance.
• Manage backups and ensure data integrity across systems.
• Administer users across platforms including AD/AAD, VOIP, and password managers; provide IT support per SLAs.
• Travel locally to support multiple sites as needed.

Position Summary

Job Overview

As a Network Administrator at Dickey’s, your role will be foundational in supporting our IT infrastructure. You will assist in managing network equipment, maintaining PCs, and contributing to various IT support activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in updating and maintaining network hardware, including servers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs.
• Support monitoring of virtual machines to ensure optimal performance.
• Assist in monitoring, repairing, and updating corporate PCs, including remote systems.
• Respond to security alerts and perform routine system maintenance.
• Interface with external support entities and act as liaison for network-related communications.
• Assist in managing backups and ensuring data integrity.
• Support administering user accounts across various platforms including Active Directory, Azure Active Directory/Entra, VOIP, ticketing system, and password managers.
• Contribute to documentation of network infrastructure and systems.
• Assist in managing email security tools and participate in disaster recovery planning.
• Help maintain network component inventory and assist in vendor relations.
• Support identifying cybersecurity training needs and tracking technology licenses and subscriptions.
• Contribute to ensuring internal systems operate securely and efficiently.
• Admin and monitor support ticket system for corporate users and resolve issues according to SLAs.
• Ensure all corporate systems run securely and perform as needed with minimal downtime with swift remediation of any found issues.
• Perform local travel between sites to maintain environment.

Qualifications

• Proficient with Active Directory and Azure Active Directory/Entra for basic user and group management, permissions setting, and group policies.
• Knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, etc.) and their application in managing and troubleshooting network operations.
• Proficient in configuring and managing Microsoft 365 services including License Administration, Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, and Microsoft Teams.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to handle multiple tasks.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to travel locally for support activities.
• Microsoft Azure experience is a plus.
• CompTIA A+ or Network+ certification is a plus.
