Rate Range: $62/hour-$65/hour The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, location, and other factors.
Position Summary
We are looking for experienced MAC admin for managing and maintaining MacOS servers in a data center environment, ensuring compliance with security controls and organizational standards. This role involves hands‑on administration, patching, and automation of software and security updates using scripting tools. Typically requires 5+ years of experience.
Role responsibilities
- The administrator collaborates closely with the MacSupport Team to implement server management plans, resolves network identification and IP conflicts, and oversees DHCP and server IP configuration.
- Additionally, the position requires expertise in managed OS environments, software packaging, and installation to ensure servers operate securely and efficiently.
- Manage Mac Server administration tasks and maintain servers up to date in compliance with Security Controls and Compliance.
- Hands on managing MacOS Servers and their patching schedules in a Data Center Environment.
- Collaborating with the MacSupport Team to understand Server Management plan in a DC.
- Ensuring Servers are running up to security software and OS.
- Primary Skill- MacOS and iOS.
Required Qualifications
- Solid understanding of Server Administration concepts.
- Must be familiar with MacOS Server Scripting and automation of software patch installations and security software updates.
- Solid knowledge of DHCP, Server IP Configuration and ability to resolve Network Identification/IP conflicts.
- Knowledge of Managed OS and Software packaging and installation.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or software engineering.
- Proven experience as Server Administrator.
- Proficient in Server configuration and scripting.
- Knowledge of Workspace One, Tanium, Jamf and other server access and security profile configuration software.
- Extensive experience with MacOS Servers.
- Knowledge of Server Virtualization.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills. Strong focus on troubleshooting and issue resolution.
