Position Overview

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing large, complex engagements and systems integration programs, with a particular focus on budget management and program governance. This is a remote role, and the successful candidate will work closely with key stakeholders, including the Chief of Staff and senior leadership teams, to drive an accelerated infrastructure transformation for the organization.

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Program Director with a strong background in technology leadership, consulting, and program delivery. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing large, complex engagements and systems integration programs, with a particular focus on budget management and program governance. This is a remote role, and the successful candidate will work closely with key stakeholders, including the Chief of Staff and senior leadership teams, to drive an accelerated infrastructure transformation for the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Project Leadership & Planning: Lead the delivery of an infrastructure change involving ERP and eCommerce platforms, ensuring seamless integration and minimizing disruptions during migration. Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, defining scope, schedule, budget, and resource allocation.
• Stakeholder & Team Management: Work closely with internal stakeholders and oversee cross-functional teams, including business analysts, project managers, and delivery managers, to ensure the ERP system and related platforms meet organizational objectives.
• Budget & Risk Management: Develop and manage the project budget, track costs, and ensure efficient financial management. Identify and mitigate project risks, keeping the program on schedule and within scope.
• Governance & Process Implementation: Establish and implement governance structures to align business and technology requirements. Create necessary metrics and reporting tools to ensure transparency and accountability throughout the delivery process.
• Data Migration & Integration: Oversee the integration of new systems with existing applications, ensuring smooth data flow and minimal disruption during migrations. Develop and execute detailed data migration plans.
• Training & Knowledge Sharing: Plan and coordinate training sessions, as well as create training materials, to equip users with the skills needed for new systems and processes.

Key Skills & Experience

• Extensive experience in ERP implementations, with a deep knowledge of NetSuite required.
• Demonstrated experience leading teams across various roles, including business analysts, project managers, and delivery managers.
• Strong understanding of IT team structures, methodologies, cloud technologies, and best practices.
• Proficient in project management approaches including Agile, Waterfall, and Hybrid methodologies.
• Proven ability to implement or adapt governance structures and operating processes to meet business and technology needs.
• Experience managing complex platform and shopping cart migrations, with specific expertise in NetSuite and BigCommerce highly preferred.
• Prior experience in the EdTech industry is advantageous, though not required.
• Strong leadership, coordination, and communication skills with the ability to manage diverse, remote teams.
  
  

Additional Responsibilities

• Own and facilitate the coordination of smaller working groups or “PODs” and forums.
• Lead project meetings, ensure key decisions are documented and follow-ups are managed.
• Obtain necessary sign-offs at each project stage from sponsors and working group members.
• Produce monthly project dashboards and reports, including tracking milestones, roadmaps, RAID logs, and progress on deliverables.
• Serve as the primary presentation owner, providing clear and actionable reporting to senior stakeholders.
