Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a Senior NetSuite Administrator to own the financial systems roadmap, administer and customize NetSuite to fit Accounting and FP&A needs, and partner with IT and Revenue Operations to optimize processes.

You will manage upgrades and security, ensuring data integrity and SOX-like controls while leading end-to-end finance system projects and delivering training to users across distributed teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Information Systems, Finance, or related field.
• 5–8+ years of relevant experience, including 3+ years administering NetSuite in a SaaS/software company environment.
• NetSuite Administrator certification (or SuiteFoundation certification).
• Hands‑on experience with NetSuite workflows, custom records, saved searches/reports, SuiteScript, and API‑based integrations.
• Solid understanding of core accounting processes (GL, AR, AP, revenue recognition) and how they map to NetSuite configuration.
• Experience supporting SOX compliance and segregation‑of‑duties controls within NetSuite.
• Strong communication and cross‑functional collaboration skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts for non‑technical stakeholders and support distributed/remote teams.

Responsibilities

• Own the financial systems roadmap for NetSuite and adjacent tools.
• Administer, configure, and customize NetSuite to meet requirements.
• Serve as the go-to technical advisor on best practices and process improvement.
• Partner with Accounting to design new NetSuite processes using standard functionality and integrations.
• Manage system upgrades, releases, and testing to minimize disruption.
• Ensure system security, data integrity, and SDLC controls in NetSuite.
• Lead financial systems projects end-to-end including scoping and timelines.
• Provide ongoing user support, training, and documentation.
• Support audit, compliance, and reporting needs with accurate data.
• Maintain confidentiality and document change governance policies.
