Job summary

Capax RM in Seattle is seeking a hands-on NetSuite Admin to bridge business needs and technology. You will own the NetSuite environment, work with Operations, Finance, Sales and Production to translate requirements into practical solutions, and ensure the system remains stable and well-integrated with Shopify and other systems.

As a key point of contact, you will help shape the systems roadmap, improve reporting and data visibility, and support longer-term automation and AI initiatives.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on NetSuite experience, either as a Systems Analyst, NetSuite Administrator, Business Systems Analyst, ERP Analyst, Consultant or similar.
• Experience working across ERP and business systems rather than focusing solely on one application.
• Strong understanding of integrations, data flows and system architecture.
• Experience working with e-commerce platforms such as Shopify is highly beneficial.
• Experience troubleshooting NetSuite integrations and connected systems.
• Strong business analysis and requirements-gathering skills.
• The ability to understand a business problem before jumping into a technical solution.
• Experience working directly with senior stakeholders and translating business requirements into technical solutions.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of the company's NetSuite environment and help bring the remaining implementation work across the finish line.
• Troubleshoot and resolve NetSuite configuration, reporting, currency, integration and data-related issues.
• Work across NetSuite, Shopify, CRM and other connected systems to understand how data flows throughout the business.
• Partner with senior stakeholders to understand business problems and translate them into effective systems solutions.
• Challenge requirements where appropriate and identify better, more efficient ways of working.
• Analyse existing processes and systems to identify gaps, duplication, manual work and opportunities for automation.
• Support the development of a longer-term business systems and technology roadmap.
• Improve reporting, dashboards and access to business data.
• Help establish NetSuite and the wider technology ecosystem as a reliable source of truth for the business.
• Work closely with the Digital Workforce Manager on automation and AI opportunities.
• Evaluate and help shape the company's integration strategy, including potential iPaaS solutions such as Celigo or Boomi.
• Work with external consultants and development partners where required.
• Provide guidance and support to users across the business, adapting your approach to different levels of technical understanding.
• Help ensure technology decisions are aligned with actual business needs rather than simply implementing requests at face value.

About the Company

The company is currently going through an important stage of its NetSuite journey, with the core implementation underway and a number of processes, integrations and reporting requirements still being refined.

With a small internal team and a broad technology landscape spanning NetSuite, Shopify, CRM, integrations, reporting and operational systems, the business is looking for someone who can bring structure, ownership and a strategic approach to its systems environment.

This is a newly created opportunity with significant scope to shape how the role develops.

The Role:

We're looking for a NetSuite Admin who can sit between the business and technology.

You'll work closely with senior stakeholders across Operations, Finance, Sales, Marketing and Production to understand business challenges, identify opportunities for improvement and translate those requirements into practical technology solutions.

You'll become a key point of contact for the company's systems landscape, helping the business understand how its systems and data work together, where gaps exist and what should be improved, automated, replaced or integrated.

The immediate priority will be helping the business get its NetSuite environment fully operational and stable.

From there, you'll have the opportunity to help shape the wider systems roadmap, improve reporting and data visibility, streamline processes and support the company's longer-term automation and AI initiatives.

The ideal person will be someone who naturally asks “why?”

If a stakeholder says, “We need a new field in NetSuite,” you won't simply build the field.

You'll want to understand:

• Why is it needed?
• Where will it be used?
• Who needs access to it?
• Does it need to feed a report?
• Does it need to be searchable or used as a filter?
• What process is it supporting?
• Is there a better way to solve the underlying problem?

You should be comfortable taking an ambiguous business problem, asking the right questions and turning it into a practical solution.

You'll also need to be comfortable wearing different hats.

One day you could be troubleshooting a NetSuite integration. The next, you could be sitting with leadership discussing reporting requirements or mapping out a longer-term technology roadmap.
