A rapidly growing organization is looking to add a NetSuite Administrator to its expanding technology team. This is a hands-on opportunity for someone who enjoys taking ownership of business systems, working closely with Finance and IT, and improving processes in a fast-paced environment.
The successful candidate will become a key owner of the company's financial systems environment, with a strong focus on NetSuite administration, integrations, system optimization, reporting, and process improvement.
What You'll Do
- Serve as the primary administrator and internal owner of NetSuite.
- Configure and optimize NetSuite, including roles, permissions, workflows, dashboards, saved searches, and reporting.
- Support and improve NetSuite integrations with HR, expense, corporate card, and other business applications.
- Own system governance, configuration documentation, data integrity, and system processes.
- Manage relationships with third-party software and support vendors.
- Troubleshoot system issues, coordinate escalations, and manage system updates and releases.
- Partner with Finance, IT, HR, and other business teams to translate requirements into effective system solutions.
- Identify opportunities to automate manual processes and improve operational efficiency.
- Support system implementations, enhancements, testing, UAT, and post-go-live optimization.
- Develop dashboards, reports, and analytics to provide better visibility into business performance.
- Support financial processes including month-end close and reconciliation activities.
- Maintain appropriate system controls and support audit requirements.
- Create and maintain documentation around integrations, workflows, and system procedures.
- Provide training and ongoing support to end users.
- Take ownership of projects from requirements gathering through implementation and ongoing support.
What We're Looking For
- Experience with NetSuite implementations, upgrades, or significant system transformations.
- Strong knowledge of NetSuite configuration, workflows, roles, permissions, saved searches, and reporting.
- Experience working with SuiteScript, SuiteAnalytics, CSV imports, and data migration.
- Experience integrating NetSuite with other business applications.
- Experience working with HRIS, expense management, corporate card, or similar financial platforms.
- Strong understanding of financial systems and business processes.
- Experience managing third-party vendors and software support relationships.
- Strong project management and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a rapidly changing environment.
- Strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred Experience
- NetSuite certification such as SuiteFoundation, Administrator, or ERP Consultant.
- Experience with Celigo, Boomi, MuleSoft, or another iPaaS platform.
- Experience working in a high-growth or scaling organization.
- Experience supporting SOX controls, audits, access controls, or financial systems governance.
- Experience in a project-based, manufacturing, construction, engineering, or similar environment.
- PMP, Lean Six Sigma, or comparable project/process improvement experience.
The Opportunity:
This is an opportunity to join an organization going through significant growth where the Finance Systems Manager will have real ownership and visibility across the business.
This isn't a narrowly defined NetSuite support position. The ideal candidate will be someone who enjoys wearing multiple hats, solving problems, improving processes, and helping build the systems and infrastructure needed to support continued growth.
The role offers the opportunity to work closely with senior IT and business leadership while having a direct impact on how the company's financial systems evolve.
