Job summary

AE Business Solutions is seeking a NetOps Solutions Architect for a permanent, hybrid role based at the Madison, WI office. You will collaborate with account managers to design and deliver enterprise solutions and act as a trusted technical advisor.

The role emphasizes hands-on pre- and post-sale enablement, architecture of solutions, and presenting strategies aligned with client priorities. Travel within the state is expected as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, related field or equivalent experience.
• Five or more years in solution architecture or engineering.
• Deeply knowledgeable in modern data networking domains (data center, campus, wireless) and modern network security.
• Experience with enterprise security and routing platforms: Palo Alto Networks, Cisco, Fortinet, Check Point; route/switch platforms: Arista, Aruba, Cisco, Juniper.
• Desirable: SASE/SSE, DDoS/WAF, Observability solutions (LogicMonitor, SolarWinds, LiveAction).

Responsibilities

• Architect solutions to solve customer business needs.
• Provide engineering expertise in pre- and post-sale stages.
• Map clients' priorities to AE’s core offerings and competencies.
• Present technology solutions and oversee implementation of services.
• Engage stakeholders across organizational levels with adaptable presentations.
• Educate customers on proposed solutions.
• Build trusted advisor relationships and identify new opportunities with sales.
• Research new technologies and market directions.
• Oversee installation and vendor coordination for products.
• Ensure solutions meet customer needs and requirements.
