Job summary

The Bison Group is seeking a Network Administrator in Millington, TN to manage and secure our enterprise network. You will perform VLAN, ACL, and port changes; upgrade IOS on routers and switches; and lead ongoing network improvements to ensure optimal operations.

Qualified candidates will hold IAT II and CCNA credentials, TS/SCI with CI poly eligibility, and familiarity with Cisco/Juniper devices plus advanced routing protocols.

Qualifications

• IAT II certification required.
• CCNA certification required.
• TS/SCI with CI poly eligibility required.
• Familiarity with Cisco and Juniper network devices required.
• Strong knowledge of BGP, OSPF, VRF, MPLS, and 802.1x required.
• Experience with KG-175 TACLANES configuration and firmware upgrades.

Responsibilities

• Conduct approved network changes including VLAN, ACL, and port assignments.
• Perform IOS upgrades to routers and switches.
• Upgrade routing/switching equipment to maintain operations.
• Draft SOPs for network operations.
• Resolve network failures and accessibility issues.
• Support site surveys and engineering data calls.
• Support new/enhanced network implementations and tech refresh projects.
• Work independently with some supervision, including remote locations.
