Job summary

Information Systems Solutions, Inc. is seeking a Network System Administrator to support Fort Novosel, AL. This 100% onsite role involves daily network/server administration, installation and maintenance of software, and proactive performance monitoring.

The candidate will plan upgrades, implement security and disaster recovery measures, and evaluate new technologies to improve network efficiency. Required qualifications include a Secret clearance and multiple security certifications.

Qualifications

• Must have Secret clearance.
• Certifications: CCNA-Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, CND, SSCP.
• At least 4 years of experience in networking/network management.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Juniper JNCIA-Junos or equivalent.
• Cisco certifications: 350-801-CLCOR, 300-815 CLACCM, etc.

Responsibilities

• Daily administration of a network/server environment.
• Install, configure, and maintain system software.
• Monitor network performance, troubleshoot issues and deploy solutions.
• Plan and implement upgrades, patches, and installation of new applications and equipment.
• Create and maintain disaster recovery, security, and backup/restore plans.
• Assist with evaluating new technologies to optimize network efficiency and performance.
