Job summary

TEKsystems is seeking a skilled .NET Web Developer / Programmer Analyst for a hybrid Martinez, CA contract-to-hire role. You will design, develop, and maintain web applications and integrations within a healthcare environment, covering requirements, design, development, testing, deployment, and ongoing support.

You’ll work with C#, .NET Framework/.NET Core, SQL Server, JavaScript, HTML/CSS, RESTful APIs, and legacy VB.NET; collaboration with stakeholders is essential to deliver effective IT

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software development experience, including web application development.
• Minimum 1 year of experience working in a healthcare environment.
• Experience throughout the full software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, deployment, and support.
• Experience developing with: C#, .NET Framework and/or .NET Core, SQL Server, JavaScript, HTML/CSS, RESTful APIs.
• Experience maintaining and enhancing legacy VB.NET applications.
• Ability and willingness to convert to a full-time employee position at the stated salary level if offered.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, enhance, and maintain web applications, client applications, APIs, integrations, and reporting solutions.
• Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, including: Requirements gathering, Solution design and estimation, Development and testing, Deployment and production support.

.NET Web Developer / Programmer Analyst

Location: Martinez, CA (Hybrid - 2 days onsite per week)

About the Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled .NET Web Developer / Programmer Analyst to design, develop, maintain, and support business-critical applications and integrations within a healthcare environment. This role is responsible for the full software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, solution design, development, testing, deployment, and ongoing support.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience developing web applications in the Microsoft technology stack, working with both modern and legacy systems, and collaborating with stakeholders to deliver technical solutions that improve business operations and healthcare services.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, enhance, and maintain web applications, client applications, APIs, integrations, and reporting solutions.

Education

• Additional qualifying experience may substitute for education requirements as permitted by organizational guidelines.

Experience

• Minimum 5 years of professional software development experience, including web application development.
• Minimum 1 year of experience working in a healthcare environment.
• Experience throughout the full software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, deployment, and support.

Job Type & Location

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $65.00 - $70.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
