Job summary

Trident Consulting is seeking a .Net Technical Lead for a 1-year contract in Raleigh, NC. You will collaborate with stakeholders, define technical solutions, and drive delivery of scalable web applications and RESTful APIs.

The role requires 10+ years in ASP.NET Core/ MVC, C#, and .NET Framework, plus SQL Server, Azure, and microservices. You will mentor teams, conduct code reviews, and coordinate cross-functional efforts to ensure stable, secure deployments for a global client base.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in software development using ASP.NET Core, ASP.NET MVC, C#, and .NET Framework.
• Expertise in SQL Server including database design, stored procedures, query optimisation, indexing, and performance tuning.
• Experience developing and supporting RESTful APIs, microservices, and secure authentication/authorisation solutions.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure services, cloud deployments, application monitoring, and production support.
• Proven ability to work directly with business stakeholders, gather requirements, and drive technical discussions and solution design.
• Experience leading development activities, performing code reviews, mentoring team members, and ensuring adherence to engineering best practices.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and customer-facing skills with experience working in global delivery environments

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with business stakeholders and product owners to gather requirements, define technical solutions, and drive project delivery.
• Architect and develop scalable, secure, and high-performance web applications and RESTful APIs.
• Review application designs, conduct code reviews, and ensure adherence to development standards and best practices.
• Drive cloud adoption and application deployment activities using Microsoft Azure services.
• Analyse and resolve complex production issues, ensuring application stability, performance, and reliability.
• Mentor offshore and onsite team members, provide technical guidance, and support knowledge-sharing initiatives.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams including QA, DevOps, and business teams to ensure successful project execution and timely releases.
