Job summary

Ascensus is seeking a Software Engineer to join our team and help deliver scalable .NET applications using C#, ASP.NET, and modern engineering practices. You will work on content capture extensions for Kofax and modernization efforts, including migrating VB6 to .NET 4.5+ within an agile environment.

You will collaborate across developers, QA, DevOps, and support teams, applying CI/CD, automation, and containerization with Docker/Kubernetes to accelerate delivery and quality.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional software development experience.
• Hands-on .NET development in C# for at least 3 years.
• Experience with Kofax Capture or similar capture systems.
• Experience migrating VB6 apps to .NET 4.5+.

Responsibilities

• Translate storyboards into scalable software solutions.
• Design, develop, test, and maintain .NET apps using C# and ASP.NET.
• Develop extensions for Kofax content capture.
• Migrate legacy VB6 to .NET 4.5+.
• Collaborate with developers, QA, DevOps, and support teams.
• Apply CI/CD and automation to releases.
• Leverage AI tools to automate workflows.
