Job summary

Ascensus is seeking a Software Engineer to join a high-energy team delivering modern software solutions using C# and the .NET framework. You will design, develop, and maintain scalable applications, including content capture extensions for Kofax, while modernizing legacy VB6 systems to .NET 4.5+.

Collaboration with DevOps, QA, and support teams is essential to ensure reliable deployments. The role emphasizes quality code, agile practices, and continuous improvement, with opportunities to work on

Qualifications

3+ years of professional software development in .NET environments.
Proficiency in C#, ASP.NET, and .NET Framework 4.5+.
Experience with Kofax Capture or similar content capture systems.
Experience modernizing and migrating VB6 to .NET 4.5+.

Responsibilities

Protect and securely handle confidential data per SLAs.
Translate storyboards into scalable .NET solutions.
Design, develop, test, and maintain C#/.NET apps.
Develop extensions for Kofax content capture and document processing.
Migrate legacy VB6 apps to .NET 4.5+ and modernize systems.
Collaborate with DevOps, QA, and support teams for deployment and operation.
Apply CI/CD practices and automate workflows; utilize Docker/Kubernetes for deployment.
