Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health seeks an Executive Director, Net Revenue to provide enterprise leadership over net revenue estimation, AR valuation, and related financial reporting across hospitals and physician groups.

The role leads monthly and annual close, forecasting, budgeting, and long-range financial planning, partnering with Revenue Cycle, Managed Care, Coding, Billing, and Accounting to improve accuracy, transparency, and GAAP compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• Master’s degree preferred.
• CPA, CHFP, or equivalent credential preferred.
• 10+ years in healthcare finance with net revenue focus.
• 5+ years in progressive leadership / management roles.
• Experience leading net revenue estimation, forecasting, and reporting in a hospital or health system.
• Experience with Kodiak RCA is required.

Responsibilities

• Set the enterprise strategy, standards, and governance for net revenue and AR valuation across hospitals and physician organizations.
• Lead the monthly and annual net revenue close with accurate estimates and strong controls.
• Direct development of net revenue forecasts, budgets, and long-range plans.
• Advise leaders on material risks, opportunities, and accounting judgments.
• Establish and maintain GAAP-compliant revenue recognition, controls, and reporting.
• Oversee payer contract modeling and revenue analytics to evaluate changes.
• Partner with Revenue Cycle, Coding, Billing, Managed Care, Reimbursement, Accounting, and operations to reduce revenue leakage.
• Lead design and implementation of net revenue systems and analytics.
• Monitor regulatory changes and ensure timely adaptations.
• Build and lead a high-performing net revenue organization.
• Direct enterprise initiatives to improve reporting accuracy and scalability.
