Job summary

Capgemini in Jersey City, NJ is seeking a .NET Developer to support Production Maintenance Services in a 24x7 model. You will handle L1/L2 incidents, troubleshoot issues, and implement minor enhancements for critical applications.

The role requires strong .NET skills, SQL Server, and experience with web APIs, MVC, and DevOps tools. You will work with ITIL processes and on-call rotations to ensure high availability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science / IT / Engineering or related field.
• Strong experience with .NET technologies and web APIs.
• Experience with SQL Server and performance tuning.
• Familiarity with front-end tech (JavaScript/HTML/CSS) and Angular/React is a plus.
• Experience with IIS server management and deployment processes.

Responsibilities

• Monitor application health, alerts, and job schedules.
• Triage incidents and service requests; resolve basic issues.
• Escalate complex issues to L2/L3 teams; maintain runbooks and docs.
• Analyze defects, perform RCA, and implement corrective actions.
• Support deployments with DevOps teams; assist in performance tuning.
