Job summary

The consultant will guide analysis, design, development, and Agile delivery, collaborating with business users and QA teams across enterprise applications.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years of experience in analysis and development.
• Experience with MAPPER Analysis/Programming.
• Strong systems analysis and design capabilities.
• Experience with UNISYS mainframe and PC environments.
• Ability to lead design of specifications and software solutions.
• Experience producing management reports.
• Proficiency with Visual Studio .NET, C#, .NET Core, SQL Server, and REST APIs.

Job Description

The New York City Department of Social Services (DSS) is modernizing the NYCWAY platform, a mission-critical workforce engagement and public assistance system. The selected consultant will provide technical leadership across application analysis, design, development, production support, Agile project delivery, and modernization initiatives. The consultant will work closely with business users, developers, QA teams, and project managers to build and support enterprise applications utilizing .NET, Angular, and Oracle technologies.
