Job summary

Onset is seeking an experienced .NET Developer / Systems Developer Expert to support the Office of Mental Health projects. You will implement CNET and REMS refactoring using C#, ASP.NET/MVC, .NET Core, Oracle, and PL/SQL, while mentoring other developers.

The ideal candidate has extensive experience in n-tier web apps, Oracle databases, and modern SDLC practices, with a focus on security, accessibility, and data integrity across healthcare data environments.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience with Microsoft Visual Studio to design and develop n-tier web applications using C#, ASP.NET/MVC, .NET Core, and modern programming principles.
• 7+ years of experience developing and maintaining web applications using HTML, XML, JSON, AJAX, JavaScript, jQuery, Bootstrap, and CSS.
• 7+ years of experience with Oracle 11G or higher, including database design, PL/SQL coding, stored procedures, packages, functions, cursors, indexes, triggers, table creation, and Oracle SQL query optimization.
• 7+ years of experience developing HTML reports and/or Crystal Reports version 10 or above and invoking them from .NET applications.
• 7+ years of experience creating and reading formal technical documentation based on system requirements.
• 7+ years of experience interpreting and analyzing business requirements and building application logic to meet those requirements.
• 5+ years of experience with TFS 2010 or later, Azure DevOps, or GitLab for development activities and source control.

Responsibilities

• Execute the full software development life cycle (SDLC).
• Use Visual Studio 2022+ to design and develop applications using MVC, .NET, JavaScript, CSS, HTML, and XML.
• Develop and maintain n-tier web applications using C#, ASP.NET/MVC, and .NET Core.
• Prepare scripts to create/modify Oracle objects (tables, indexes, constraints, triggers, views).
• Develop and maintain Oracle stored procedures, packages, functions, cursors.
• Perform data conversion and migration when necessary.
• Design, diagnose, and troubleshoot application rules, calculations, reports, and data issues.
• Develop and maintain HTML/Crystal Reports and integrate with .NET apps.
• Mentor and assist state and consultant programmers on debugging, security, deployment, data access, and system architecture.
• Use GitLab or Azure DevOps for source control, check-in/out, and branching.

Onset is seeking an experienced .NET Developer / Systems Developer Expert to support the Office of Mental Health's CNET and REMS refactoring and restructuring project. The selected resource will be responsible for implementing solutions for the CNET and REMS refactoring and restructuring project and other projects as needed, utilizing C#, .NET, PL/SQL, Oracle, and various other programming tools.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience developing and maintaining n-tier web applications using C#, ASP.NET/MVC, .NET Core, and modern programming principles. The role will also require strong Oracle database and PL/SQL experience, web development expertise, source control experience, application troubleshooting skills, and the ability to provide technical guidance to other programmers.
