Job summary

Trigyn Technologies, Inc. is seeking a C# / ASP.NET Developer in Albany, NY to execute the full SDLC and deliver secure, scalable software solutions.

You will use Visual Studio 2022+, MVC/.NET Core, and modern web technologies while mentoring other programmers and coordinating with ITSM to address incidents and service requests.

Qualifications

• 7+ years using Visual Studio to design & develop n-tier web apps with C#, ASP.NET/MVC, and .NET Core.
• 7+ years building web apps with HTML, XML/JSON, JavaScript, jQuery, Bootstrap, and CSS.
• 7+ years with Oracle 11G+ databases: design, PL/SQL coding, stored procedures, packages, and tuning.
• 7+ years developing HTML reports or Crystal Reports integrated with .NET.
• 5+ years with TFS/Azure DevOps/GitLab for source control and CI/CD.
• 5+ years creating applications compliant with Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.0.
• 3+ years designing apps handling PHI/healthcare data.

Responsibilities

• Execute full SDLC for backend and frontend components.
• Develop with Visual Studio and MVC/.NET Core; write robust, secure code.
• Create/modify Oracle tables, indexes, triggers, views, and stored procedures.
• Diagnose data issues and generate optimized reports.

Job description

Trigyn's direct government client has an immediate need for a C# / ASP.NET Developer in Albany, NY.

Description:

• Execute full software development life cycle (SDLC)
• Use Microsoft Visual Studio 2022 or higher and write code using MVC, .NET, JavaScript, CSS, HTML, XML.
• Prepare scripts to create and modify existing Oracle tables, create indexes, constraints, triggers, views, etc., code stored procedures and packages, convert and migrate data when necessary.
• Design, Diagnose and troubleshoot various rules, calculations, and data issues on application reports.
• Mentor and assist other programmers, both state and consultant, providing guidance for debugging, troubleshooting, securing and deploying applications, data access, data communications and system architecture configurations.
• Use a source code repository, such as Gitlab, Azure DevOps for checking source code in and out, and branching off new versions of the source code.
• Work within the IT Service Management System to take in incidents and service requests for the application, as well as request services from other ITS groups.
• Diagnose and debug production issues reported via ITSM. Escalate critical calls as necessary and join bridge calls to assist in diagnosis.
• Report status of current tasks and outstanding issues to supervisor.

Mandatory Qualification:

• Develops and implements applications and programs for the backend processing systems used in businesses and organizations.
• Candidate is able to provide guidance to large teams and/or has extensive industry experience and is considered at the top of his/her field.
• 84 Months Experience in using Microsoft Visual Studio to design & develop n-tier web applications using C#, ASP.NET/MVC, .NET Core and modern programming principles; Object-oriented, scalable, maintainable, single-responsibility and highest application security standards.
• 84 months experience developing and maintaining web applications that utilize HTML, XML, JSON, AJAX, JavaScript, jQuery, Bootstrap and Cascading Style Sheets.
• 84 Months Experience with Oracle 11G or higher: Database design, PL SQL coding, stored procedures, packages, functions and cursors, indexes, triggers, creating tables, etc. and Oracle SQL query optimization.
• 84 Months Experience developing HTML reports and/or developing reports with Crystal Reports version 10 or above and invoking them from .NET applications.
• 84 Months Experience creating and reading formal technical documentation based on system requirements, interpreting and analyzing business requirements and building the logic within an application's code to meet those requirements.
• 60 Months Experience with Team Foundation Server (TFS) 2010 or later, Azure DevOps or GitLab, for development activities and source control.
• 48 Months Experience developing applications that follow Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.0.
• 36 Months Experience designing & implementing applications which contain Health Care data that fall under HIPAA Protected Health Information (PHI).
