Job summary

MACHINE LEARNING TECHNOLOGIES LLC is seeking a Back End Software Engineer (NET) in Fremont, CA to build and maintain information systems that support rapid growth and deliver a seamless customer experience. You will be part of the core services team responsible for backend orchestration from order to ownership.

Responsibilities include designing, developing, testing, deploying, and maintaining backend services, while ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance.

Qualifications

• Experience writing code in object-oriented languages.
• Experience with microservices, or service-oriented architecture.
• Experience with databases (either SQL or NoSQL).
• Good unit testing and integration testing practices.
• Experience with message queue architecture.
• Experience with MySQL and PostgreSQL.
• Experience or knowledge on open-source technologies such as Kafka, Debezium, Elasticsearch, etc.
• Expert knowledge of REST APIs

• Be flexible and quick to respond to changing business priorities and requirements.

• Write clean, maintainable, performant, and well-tested code to implement new features and fix bugs.
• Write unit tests, integration tests, and work with QA to coordinate timely regression for new features.
• Monitor live system metrics, respond to alerts, and troubleshoot production issues.
• Investigate and understand existing system functionality and propose improvements.
• Understand and improve scalability, maintainability, availability, and visibility of applications.

• Our direct client is searching for a Back End Software Engineer with experience in backend development, who will be responsible for building information systems to support rapid growth while providing a seamless and intuitive customer experience. Candidate will be part of the core services team, which owns backend orchestration of both the customer journey from Order, Purchase, Delivery/Installation, and Ownership.
