Job summary
Ohio Department of Health seeks a Software Development Specialist 2 to design and perform systems analysis, recommend application solutions and/or tests, and assist with documentation. Primary technology is the Microsoft .Net environment, including C#, ASP.NET Core MVC, Entity Framework, Azure Functions, and SQL Server development.
The role involves collaborating with business personnel to document requirements, providing post-production support, and guiding the software development processes
Qualifications
- Undergrad or advanced degree in Computer Science or Information Systems.
- Experience with .NET Framework - C# required.
- Experience with Azure Cloud Development (Azure Functions).
- Experience in web development with ASP.NET Core MVC and EF.
- Experience with Azure DevOps (Git) and MS SQL Server development.
Responsibilities
- Design and perform systems analysis and recommend application solutions.
- Perform post-production support, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Assist software development team in reviewing development methodologies.
- Lead discussions with technical and non-technical staff on software topics.
- Handle software implementation tasks including source control and deployment.
