Job summary

State of Ohio is seeking a senior software developer to provide solution designs and collaborate with IT Architecture staff and IT Managers to meet agency requirements.

Assists in analyzing the business case for solution designs and contributes to authoring portions of the business case. Mentors team members and leads design reviews, with emphasis on Azure-based full-stack development and robust SQL data services.

Qualifications

• Extensive knowledge of software development and solution design.
• Experience collaborating with IT Architecture staff and IT Managers.
• Mentoring senior developers and guiding project timelines.
• Proficiency with Microsoft stack and Azure cloud services.
• Ability to analyze end-user requirements and conduct design reviews.
• Experience in planning tests, UAT, and post-production support.

Responsibilities

• Provide solution designs and collaborate with IT Architecture and IT Managers.
• Mentor team members and ensure project timelines are met.
• Lead design reviews and post-production support for enterprise apps.
• Develop solutions using React, Angular, .NET, Azure, and SQL.
• Document business and technical process flows and testing criteria.
• Conduct code reviews and participate in meetings and training sessions.
