The role balances development with production support, data integrations, and troubleshooting, and requires curiosity, adaptability, and effective collaboration with technical and business partners.

Formación

• Associate's degree and a minimum of 3 years’ systems analysis and/or application development experience.
• Bachelor's degree and at least 1 year systems analysis and/or application development experience.
• Proficiency in at least one relevant programming language.
• Experience developing and supporting web-based applications and services.
• Experience with Microsoft technologies, including .NET.
• Experience with SQL Server, SQL development, and relational databases.
• Experience building, consuming, supporting, or troubleshooting APIs and system integrations.
• Experience with data modeling, database design, data acquisition, and data movement solutions.
• Experience supporting applications in production environments, including troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.
• Experience using source control and code management tools such as GitHub and/or Azure DevOps.
• Understanding of software development best practices, including code reviews, version control, unit testing, and controlled software delivery.
• Ability to analyze technical and business requirements and translate them into effective solutions.
• Ability to investigate unfamiliar technologies, existing code, and complex technical problems.
• Strong problem-solving, organizational, and time-management skills.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills with the ability to collaborate across technical and non-technical teams.

Responsabilidades

• Work within the SDLC to solve business needs and minimize risks through clean, resilient code.
• Design, develop, test, and support applications, APIs, and data solutions.
• Work across a technology ecosystem including custom apps, APIs, databases, and third‑party platforms.
• Balance development with production support, troubleshooting, and integration work.
• Investigate and solve technical problems across existing systems and unfamiliar code.
• Provide feedback in pull requests and participate in code reviews.
• Write organized, secure source code in one or more languages.
• Utilize GitHub and Azure DevOps to manage, organize, and deploy code.
• Assist in designing data models, acquisition processes, and data movement solutions.
• Collaborate with senior team members to scope work accurately.
• Document technical implementation details clearly for teams.
• Support testing, troubleshooting, and resolution of data-related issues.
• Continuously learn and apply emerging technologies and practices.
• Adhere to risk and regulatory standards and escalate issues when needed.
• Promote belonging and reflect the M&T Bank brand.
