M&T Bank is offering an Enterprise API Services internship in Buffalo, NY, January 2027 through August 2027. You will work with engineers and architects to modernize enterprise applications, guiding migrations and integrations with new downstream services.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in CS/CE/Software or related STEM field
• Minimum GPA of 3.0; higher GPA preferred
• No work visa sponsorship offered for this role
• GPA 3.5 or higher is a plus

Responsabilités

• Assist with migrating existing applications to modern service-based architectures
• Analyze and identify modernization opportunities in current designs
• Develop software solutions using Java, JavaScript, HTML/CSS, React, Angular, or RESTful APIs
• Collaborate with developers, architects, product owners and operations
• Support enterprise API adoption and best practices
• Leverage AI-assisted development tools to improve productivity
• Create technical docs, migration guides, and knowledge-sharing materials
• Participate in testing, code reviews, and agile ceremonies
• Understand risk and regulatory requirements and escalate issues when needed
• Contribute to an inclusive environment aligned with M&T Bank’s brand
