Position: CNC Laser Machinist
Reports to: Operations Manager
Location: Easley, SC
The CNC Laser Programmer is responsible for developing, optimizing, and maintaining CNC laser cutting programs to support efficient manufacturing operations. This role works closely with engineering, production, and quality teams to ensure accurate part processing, material utilization, and machine performance. The CNC Laser Programmer analyzes engineering drawings, models, and production requirements to create cost-effective cutting strategies while maintaining quality and safety standards.
Regularly works in a manufacturing environment with exposure to moving mechanical parts, forklifts, cranes, and industrial equipment. Noise levels may be moderate to high. Appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) is required when in production areas.
Must be able to frequently walk throughout manufacturing areas, stand for extended periods, and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds. Requires the ability to use computers, operate manufacturing equipment interfaces, and inspect parts and materials. Must possess visual acuity sufficient to review detailed drawings, specifications, and quality measurements.
