Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for nerve conduction studies and explain procedures clearly and compassionately.
• Review orders and medical history to ensure testing accuracy and safety.
• Position patients and maintain privacy and comfort throughout testing.
• Place electrodes accurately and record waveforms, latencies, and amplitudes.
• Document study data in EMR and notify physician of any issues or incomplete studies.
• Operate and maintain EMG/NCS equipment and perform routine quality checks.
