Job summary

Advocate Aurora Health is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to support the Nephrology: Outpatient Interventional program at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center. This part-time role (24 hours per week) runs Monday through Friday, 8am–4:30pm, with no weekends or on-call requirements.

The RN will utilize the nursing process, ensure patient safety, and maintain accurate EHR documentation while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team in an outpatient setting.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Board of Nursing approved nursing education program.
• Active, unrestricted RN license with privileges to practice.
• BLS certification required; telehealth/virtual modalities may require state licensure where client is located.

Responsibilities

• Engages in governance and quality initiatives to improve care processes and apply evidence-based practices.
• Uses the nursing process to assess, plan, diagnose, implement, and evaluate nursing care with patients and families.
• Monitors patient conditions, adjusts care plans, and collaborates with the care team to influence outcomes.
• Maintains accurate, timely EHR documentation.
• May float to other units or facilities within the service area as needed.
