Job summary

Advocate Health in the Carolinas is seeking a part-time RN for the 35603 Atrium Health Union - Dialysis unit. This role covers 24 hours per week, with rotating call shifts nights and weekends, in a small, collaborative team of four nurses and one technician.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of nursing experience, with strong ICU and/or kidney dialysis unit experience. Responsibilities include applying the nursing process, ensuring safety, documenting in the EHR, and coordinating care

Responsibilities

• Engages in governance, quality initiatives, and evidence-based practice to improve care.
• Utilizes the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care with patient/family involvement.
• Monitors patient conditions, adjusts plans, and ensures safe, effective care delivery.
• Maintains a culture of safety and assists with coordination of care across the team.
• Maintains timely EHR documentation and supports on-call rotations and holiday coverage.
