Job summary

Boston Medical Center is seeking a Research Assistant in the Nephrology section to support clinical research activities, including recruitment, scheduling, and data management. You will work closely with the Research Program Manager and staff to assist with regulatory tasks and manuscript preparation.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree and strong communication skills; on-site requirements entail working with diverse patient populations in a clinical and research setting, with opportunities

Qualifications

• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Experience with statistical software preferred.
• Must maintain strict confidentiality of personal and health information.

Responsibilities

• Recruits and screens clinical research candidates and supports recruitment activities.
• Completes informed consent documents and enrolls participants in the protocol.
• Collects, documents, and submits study data and samples accurately and efficiently.
• Collaborates with the Research Program Manager and staff to support daily study operations.
• Schedule: 40 hours/week, on-site with occasional varying clinic visits.
