Nephrologist Opportunity in Northern California

Location: Known for its Gold Rush history, large lake, and family-friendly community with a historical downtown, resort casino, and various outdoor activities including water sports, hiking, camping, golf, and local wineries. Close to major cities like Sacramento (1 hour) and Chico (20 minutes).

Practice Details:

• General nephrology within a hospital-managed practice
• Enjoy the independence of an contractor role with hospital support
• High-volume clinic: 16-20 patients/day when fully ramped up
• Referrals booked 4-6 weeks out
• Inpatient rounding as needed
• Current dialysis coverage: 1 full day/week (schedule flexible)
• Low call volume, phone-only unless urgent
• EMR System: Tenzing
• Additional nephrologist on staff
• Location rated as a federally underserved area
• Facility: 153-bed, Level III full-service hospital

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8 am to 5 pm. Open to new graduates.
