Job description

Nephrology Opportunity: Oroville, CA

Located 20 miles from Chico and 65 miles from Sacramento.

Position Details

• Full-time, permanent position
• Currently a 1 physician practice with no midlevels
• Office Support Staff includes Medical Assistants, LVNs, and Medical Scribes
• Referral backlog: approximately 4-6 weeks
• Clinic volume: 16-20 patients per day when fully ramped up
• Clinic hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
• Inpatient rounding as needed
• Typically see inpatient consults before AM clinic and before or after PM clinic as needed; on-call frequently but very low utilization, phone consultation only unless urgent
• Current schedule includes one full day of dialysis per week, which can be adjusted based on preference
• Dialysis services are provided by DCI, a separate entity located half a mile from the hospital
