PeaceHealth is seeking a Patient Access Representative - Nephrology for a Full Time, 1.00 FTE, Day position. The role involves pre-registering patients, collecting balances, and verifying insurance coverage prior to visits.

• High School Diploma preferred or equivalent.
• Minimum of 1 year medical office or related customer service experience.
• Experience with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Pre-registers/registers patients with accurate demographic and financial data.
• Collects patient balances, co-payments, and co-insurance.
• Verifies coverage and obtains prior authorizations/referrals as needed.
• Responds to customer inquiries and supports scheduling as required.
• Manages daily appointment schedules and may assist with referrals.
• Communicates clearly and professionally with patients and providers.
