Job summary
Pantheon Health System, LLC is seeking a Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner to join our team. You will examine patients, collect medical histories, and make tentative diagnoses. You will read diagnostic tests, explain results, and prescribe therapies with physician approval.
The ideal candidate has strong bedside manners, charting experience, and excellent communication skills. Patients are seen in nursing homes, assisted living, and home settings, with some driving involved.
Qualifications
- Valid state licensing is required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with medical terminology, charting, and diagnostic tests.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities
- Examine each patient, take a detailed medical history, and chart everything medically important.
- Read test results, interpret data, and make diagnostic suggestions based on results.
- Explain test results and health outcomes to patients.
- Prescribe medication or therapy with physician oversight as part of a health plan.
- Collaborate with nurses, other PAs, and physicians to formulate treatment plans.
